On Sunday, I had the strange urge to go op-shopping. I went to my favourite one on Chapel St and found a step ladder, a cup and saucer, a dress and a serving platter, it was quite a good haul. I had to come back later to collect them and while in there a second time, we bought an amazing bamboo bookcase, which I can't have for three weeks as it is in the window display. We walked further down Chapel street and went into another shop, where I found these! A cool box and inside are four little glass dishes in the shape of fruit... a bunch of grapes, a pineapple, a pear and an apple... how random and gorgeous is that?

Crochet

I am loving anything crocheted at the moment and hopefully I will learn how to do it myself one of these days. My Dad recently gave me some doilies, made by hand, by my Great Grandmother... amazing! This picture is of a tablecloth I found in an op shop in Malvern... not handmade but still pretty x

Hello...

Hi there,
I am Miss M, a Florist who has been living in Melbourne for just over a year now. I am from New Zealand but prior to moving to Melbourne, I lived in London for several years.
I am constantly in op shops searching for treasures (occasionally I find great roadside treasures too!) or wandering around taking pictures of lovely things I see.
This blog will be a document of the gorgeous things I stumble upon, I hope you enjoy x
